DC holds 5th 3-Year Strategic Planning Workshop-2017

 
 
 

The Christian Co-operative Credit Union Limited, Dhaka (Dhaka Credit) holds the Fifth 3-Year Strategic Planning Workshop-2017 on February 23-24, 2017 at Dhaka Credit Resort and Training Centre in Mathbari of Gazipur district. At least 150 participants including Dhaka Credit management committee members, departmental managers, relevant cooperative credit union chairmen, advisors, social leaders and well-wishers attended the event.  

Dhaka Credit president Babu Markus Gomes on February 23 evening presided over the opening session while Pankaj Gilbert Costa, secretary and Nirmol Rozario, president of Bangladesh Christian Association as well as chairman of the Central Association of Christian Cooperatives (CACCO) Limited were present.

Following president’s session, Dhaka Credit’s treasurer Bipul Lawrence Gomes held multi-media presentation on the present financial situations of Dhaka Credit. Next day, a freelance IT specialist named Aldrin Thomas Gaine presented Dhaka Credit’s present IT condition and future prospects of development.

Dhaka Credit’s ex-secretary as well as Bangladesh Christian Association’s secretary general Ignatious Hemanta Corraya presented reports on Focus Group Discussions (FGD). FGD was held prior the strategic planning workshop. Outcomes of FGD were presented by Dominic Ranjan Purification, an NGO leader.

Nirmol Rozario facilitated Dhaka Credit’s SWOT analysis session that discussed organisation’s opportunities, strengths, weaknesses and risks. Babu Markus Gomes held the session of ‘short and long-term targets fixation’ and ‘process of implementation’. Secretary Pankaj Gilbert Costa held the session on oganisational target achievement policy.

 

The workshop concluded on February 23 with a closing ceremony chaired by Babu Markus Gomes. Among others were present Nirmol Rozario, Ignatious Hemanta Corraya and Augustine Purification followed by a cultural show. Secretary Pankaj Gilbert Costa facilitated the program.
